Dean Abraham addresses the crowd.

Four years ago, Dean Abraham, Dr. Dan Suchora, and Dr. Nate Ritchey decided that they needed to get students together that embodied what STEM should be. The transformation from that idea into the STEM Leadership Society has been phenomenal. This year is the first class of graduates to come from the program and we couldn’t be more proud!

On Tuesday, April 15, the STEM College held its first recognition banquet for the graduating seniors of SLS. The night started off with dinner and opening remarks by Dean Abraham. Mike Garvey of M7 Technologies spoke and gave our seniors a little bit of parting advice. Among the many pieces of advice he gave were have an insatiable appetite for quality and to actively pursue leading technology.

This year’s graduating seniors are:

Daniel Catello
Mike Currao
Matt English
Massey Fowler
Estee George
Sam Gindlesberger
AJ Grayson
Teresa McKinney
Michael McMasters
Kara Miller
Sarah Ritchey
Justen Vrabel

The presidency of the group will be taken over by Ashley Bowers. We have no doubt that the remaining SLS students and new inductees will continue to make STEM all that it can be!
