In Dean Steelant’s column last month, he highlighted his desire to bring high school students to campus to show them around STEM and help them to learn about the opportunities available at YSU. It is our hope to have at least two high school field trips to STEM each month, and we are excited to announce our available STEM Field Trip Days for the Fall!
Each trip will include science demos with Dr. Steelant, information sessions/demos and tours with two of our academic departments, a campus tour, and lunch. Groups of up to 30 students can be accommodated, and we invite anyone interested in bringing a group to contact Emilie Eberth, Coordinator for STEM Outreach and Scholarships, at firstname.lastname@example.org or (330)941-2884.
